    菩提本无树,明镜亦非台,本来无一物,何处惹尘埃

    菩提本无树,明镜亦非台,本来无一物,何处惹尘埃。这个是六祖慧能大师的一个四句偈。

    这是六祖慧能一首禅诗的诗句。他和神秀的禅诗中提到的
    “菩提树”、“明镜台”是来比喻自己对佛法的认识。而
    六祖“菩提本无树”中的“菩提”,则指的是真实本心。

    禅宗的核心,以及佛法的核心讲的就是“菩提”即真实本
    心如来藏。而六祖的禅诗‘菩提本无树,明镜亦非台;本
    来无一物,何处惹尘埃?’当时比神秀的‘身是菩提树,
    心如明镜台;时时勤拂拭,勿使惹尘埃。’要高明得多。

    因为“菩提”确实有空的体性,是无形无相的,无觉无知
    的,是“诸入不会”的。所以,并无菩提树、明镜台等实
    物可供人“勤拂试”。但佛法不是如虚空一样的空,不是
    断灭空,不是世俗认识所能了知的。是即相离相,无相无
    不相的,是不即空有二边,而亦空有二边的。

    所以说,这禅诗是在六祖亲证菩提之前的诗,并不代表他
    后来亲证菩提后,对佛法的正确认识。禅门是无门为门,
    扫除一切相,所谓言语道断,心行处灭。

    尘在外,心在内,常拂之,心净无尘;
    尘在内,心在外,常剥之,无尘无心;
    心中有尘,尘本是心,
    何畏心中尘,无尘亦无心
    佛对我说:你的心上有尘。我用力地擦拭。
    佛说:你错了,尘是擦不掉的。我于是将心剥了下来.
    佛又说:你又错了,尘本非尘,何来有尘
    我领悟不透,是什么意思?
    我想这是从神秀和慧能那两个偈子引申出来。
    神秀说:“身是菩提树,心如明镜台,时时勤拂拭,勿使惹尘埃。”
    慧能说:“菩提本无树,明镜亦非台,本来无一物,何处惹尘埃。”
    的确,要能够参透这两个偈子的确很难,就是正确的理解也不易。

    众生的身体就是一棵觉悟的智慧树,
    众生的心灵就象一座明亮的台镜。
    要时时不断地将它掸拂擦试,
    不让它被尘垢污染障蔽了光明的本性。
    菩提本无树,明镜亦非台,本来无一物,何处惹尘埃
    菩提原本就没有树,
    明亮的镜子也并不是台。
    本来就是虚无没有一物,
    那里会染上什么尘埃?
    现在只能从字面上去理解它,参悟不透!
